Access to the website and its use are subject to the conditions below. While browsing the website, users are deemed to have read the Terms of Use and Conditions, accepted and agreed to abide by them. Artifact reserves the right to modify and update these Terms of Use and Conditions at any time without notice and without any particular formality. It is therefore the users’ responsibility to check regularly the Terms of Use and Conditions.
Artifact may update the site from time to time, and may change the content at any time. However, please note that any of the content on the site may be out of date at any given time, and Artifact is under no obligation to update it.

The site is made available free of charge.
Artifact does not guarantee that its site, or any content on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted. Access to the site is permitted on a temporary basis. Users acknowledge that such information and materials may contain errors, omissions, incorrectness or deficiencies in the updating of the website, for which Artifact expressly exclude liability to the fullest extent.

Artifact is the the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in this site, and in the material published on it of whatever kind, and namely texts, graphs, logos, icons, images, audio and video clips, trademarks, software and features.Those works are protected by the European and International copyright laws, trademark laws and/or other proprietary rights and laws.  All such rights are reserved.

Users will not print off, copy, modify, download or use any part of the content on the site for commercial purposes without obtaining a licence to do so from Artifact or its licensors.

6. Liability / Limitations on technical data

Artifact does not guarantee that the site will be secure or free from bugs or viruses.

7. Personal Data

Artifact takes security very seriously and is committed to maintaining users’ trust. Artifact values users’ privacy and strive to maintain a secure platform : personal data are notably protected by the Act No 78-17 of 6th January 1978 as amended by the “Informatique, Fichiers et Libertés” Act No 2004-801 of 6th August 2004 for personal privacy protection,the Act 226-13 of the Penal Code and the EU Directive of 24th October1995.

While accessing the site artifact-paris.com, information may be collected : the URL address of the links via which users access this site, the users ’internet provider, the users IP address.
In any event, ARTIFACT does not collect personal information from users (name, email address, telephone details) for any other purpose than those described on the site. Users provide this information freely and in full knowledge of cause, in particular when they provide such information willingly. Users of the site artifact-paris.com are then informed about whether or not the information they are being asked to provide is compulsory.
In accordance with the provisions of section 38 et seq. of  Act No 78-17 of 6th January 1978 as amended by the “Informatique, Fichiers et Libertés » Act, all users have the right to access, rectify or challenge any personal data concerning them. To do so, a written and signed request should be sent, together with a copy of signed proof of identity, specifying the address to which the reply is to be returned.

None of the site users’ personal information is collected or published without users’ knowledge nor is it sold in any form whatsoever to third parties. Only the hypothesis of the buyback of ARTIFACT and its rights would allow the transmission of the aforementioned information to the possible buyer who would be held in his turn by the same obligation of preservation and of modification of the data concerning users of the site artifact-paris.com.

The site is not registered with the CNIL since  it does not collect personally identifying information.The databases are protected by the provisions of Act dated 1st July 1998 transposing European Directive 96/9 dated 11th March 1996 governing the legal protection of database .

However Artifact is not able to check the content of the sites visited in this way, and therefore disclaims all responsibility in this regard.

9. Dispute / Applicable law and attribution of jurisdiction

In case of litigation, the law applicable between the parts shall be the French law and the jurisdiction shall be explicitely assigned to Paris Courts.

11. Glossary

The term « users » refers to visitors connecting to the Artifact website.
